Things I Don't Miss
- Being treated like a valuable object. Being overprotected. Being shown off. Not being listened to and not having people interested in me as a person.
- Being treated like I am incapable because I am a female.
- Waiting for water, electricity, or a stable internet connection.
- Air pollution
- Complicated social rituals I don't understand, like rules against speaking openly or honestly.
- Chinese liquor smell (bi jiu).
- Being coerced into drinking Chinese liquor.
- Chinese pop music.
- The inability to convince people I prefer to eat vegetarian.
- The lack of cloths that fit me (because I am "fat" enough to have curves).
- Anything to do with Titanic (the movie) or "My Heart Will Go On".
- The lack of thick paper or pens that work well.
