kitschy FTW
I have spent a whole lot of the hours of my life making giftmas stockings for the boys. I finally finished Huxley's. While not appealing to my usual asthetic, I am sentimentally attached to this sort of thing as they are obviously designed by the exact same person who designed the ones my mom made for my brother and I. I'm glad I did them. I'm more glad that they're done. I'm also glad that the boys really seem to like exploring the details of them.

Nice! We just bought a new one from Hable Construction. But I love these ones, they're the same ones I had as a kid, too... I think there are two designers of these from my poking about looking for one for E. I never seriously considered using our/your sewing machine to recreate such sequined madness, but there are tons of folks selling these things on etsy for around my hourly rate... OPPORTUNITY COST! who says love is economical?
oh, there is no sewing machine involved - all by hand, bitch!
